Jeannine B. Scott
Executive Board Director, Advisory Board Member, Business & Government Relations/Africa & America
Ms. Jeannine B. Scott brings over 35 years of experience in the field of international development, spanning the private, non-profit, multi-lateral agency and US government sectors. She is the Founder & Principal of America to Africa Consulting, LLC, (A2A), which brokers trade and investment linkages between US and Africa companies.
Ms. Scott’s previous tenures include: President of the U.S.–Angola Chamber of Commerce (USACC); Senior Vice President of Africare; Advisor and Alternate U.S. Executive Director at African Development Bank Group (AfDB) (Clinton administration appointee); as well as earlier staff positions with both the AfDB and Africare.
Ms. Scott serves on a number of boards, notably including: Chairman of the Constituency for Africa (CFA), Howard University Law School – World Food Law Institute, amongst others. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Ms. Scott holds an A.B. degree from Vassar College in Political Science and Africana Studies and a Master’s degree in International Relations from Yale University. She is fluent in French and understands Portuguese.
